Job Description

Role overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring production professional to learn and grow within the industry. Bloomsbury publishes a prestigious international list of trade and specialist fiction and non-fiction titles. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working individual with a particular interest in print production to join our busy Adult Production team.

Responsibilities

  • Costing and processing mainly colour and some mono reprints
  • Processing some colour frontlist and some POD
  • Providing administrative support to the team

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proven IT skills (knowledge of Word and Excel essential)
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Some production experience on either mono or colour books

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: £28,000 pa
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). Allocated office days are Mondays and Tuesdays.
  • Holidays: 25 days holiday, 3.5 days Christmas company holiday.
