Strong internal and external stakeholder management and campaign ownership are essential. The role involves collaborative work across editorial, design, international offices, and the wider Communications team, reporting to the Head of Publicity & Communications.

  • Support and organize key in-house launches, events, and signings, with time off in lieu to be agreed.
  • Develop and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, bloggers/vloggers, and other tastemakers.
  • Manage children’s book prize submissions in collaboration with the Marketing & Publicity Assistant.

  • Attend author/agent meetings to present forward-planning activities and campaign outcome reports.
  • Keep sales, comms, and editorial colleagues informed of campaign activity, circulating promotional plans, post-campaign reports, and review coverage.
  • Provide exceptional author care, keeping authors and agents informed of key logistical information for their campaigns.
  • Work closely with license, museum, gallery, and brand partners to keep them abreast of plans and maintain communication.
  • Develop strong relationships with bookshops, festivals, schools, librarians, and literacy organizations.
  • Contribute to the visibility of the list by participating in industry events, panels, and presentations.
